New 6-Second Toothbrush

October 2, 2013UncategorizedBy Robert D'Alfonso

New 6-Second Toothbrush

Dentists normally recommend that you brush your teeth for two minutes, twice a day. Yet, a new teeth cleaning technique might be changing the future of the toothbrush. A company recently released a new tailored toothbrush called Blizzident that can brush your teeth in just six seconds.

Blizzident is a 3-D replica of your mouth with 400 bristles pointed at a 45 degree angle to your teeth and gums. All you do is bite down and release the apparatus 10 to 15 times for about six seconds, and it cleans even between your teeth and your gums.

With toothbrushing, its easy to not clean your teeth with the proper technique, or to brush too hard and harm your gums. The makers of Blizzident state that it doesnt harm your gums like toothbrushing can, and there isnt user error as with a toothbrush. It also keeps your breath fresher by cleaning your tongue, which many people forget to do with a toothbrush.

The Blizzident needs to be replaced only once a year, and the replacement ones can be sent to you automatically. To get a Blizzident, your dentist would take impressions of your teeth, scan them in, and the company would create and send you a Blizzident unique for your mouth.

Whether you are using a Blizzident, manual toothbrush or electric toothbrush, the most important thing for your oral health is to brush your teeth twice a day, floss daily and visit your dentist for a bi-annual teeth cleaning.
