Smile imaging software lets our clients see their dental work before it happens. Using state-of-the-art software, Lakeway Cosmetic Dentistry can create a photo that lets clients see the extensive results of their procedure before any work is done.

What is the Smile Imaging process?

First, our dental experts take a picture of your smile. From there, the photo is loaded into smile imaging software called Snap Smile.

Snap Smile allows your dental professional to enhance the photo with a couple of clicks. Your dentist will input the procedure they want to perform into the program. When this is done, the program adjusts the photo to reflect the end result of your procedure. You’ll see your smile as if the procedure had already been done.

Snap Smile also has a thorough catalogue of smiles to look through. The dentist can adjust your results to match these other smiles, giving you the results that you want.

Snap Smile can be used to show end results for the following:

  • Bonding
  • Bridge Implants
  • Cosmetic Dentistry
  • Crowns
  • Full Mouth Reconstruction
  • Orthodontics
  • Veneers

Generating these results can happen in as little as a minute. When the dentist finishes, she will print out a before and after photo that you can take with you.

What are the benefits?

See the results before any dental work happens

Instead of being told what a procedure can do, you can see what the procedure does for you. You will see your final smile with the results of your procedures already in place.

Adjust the work before it happens

If a Snap Smile photo doesn’t have the result you want, you can talk to your dentist about what else can be done. Before smile imaging, it was impossible to know what the final result was until your mouth had healed. Now, instead of spending thousands of dollars on unsatisfactory dental work, you can take steps towards getting the results you want before any work happens.

Your dentist can visualize what you want

Smile imaging lets you see the results of multiple procedures. This lets the dentist fine-tune the outcome of your procedure and decide the best course of action.
