Lakeway Center for Cosmetic and Family Dentistry knows how hard our firefighters work, especially during last year’s tragic wildfires. In honor of our firefighters and their sacrifices, we’re raising support to benefit Lake Travis Fire Rescue on our Facebook page.
For every “like” that the Lakeway Center for Cosmetic and Family Dentistry’s Facebook page gets this month, Dr. D’Alfonso will donate $1 to benefit Lake Travis Fire Rescue. If we get 1,000 likes that means $1,000 for Lake Travis Fire Rescue!
How Your “Like” Will Help Fight Fires
Lake Travis Fire Rescue is our area’s first line of defense in preventing fires and protecting our lives and property in the case of fires. By liking our page and asking others to as well, you can help provide them with much needed non-budgeted equipment and other items.
There are five different fire stations located throughout the Lake Travis area. Their district covers 200 sq. miles of unique terrain that includes lakes, undeveloped areas and heavily populated residential communities.
There are a variety of operations that the team performs. They work day and night to provide fire services in our area. They are also involved in marine fire suppression for water-related accidents. Outside of fires, our firefighters also take part in rescue and medical operations, and are part of the Travis County Hazardous Materials Team.
“The men and women who fight fires as part of the Lake Travis Fire Rescue are heroes,” said Dr. Robert D’Alfonso, our lead cosmetic dentist at Lakeway Center for Cosmetic and Family Dentistry. “They risk their life so they can protect us and our property. They deserve our support in any way we can give it. This is just one of the ways we can show our gratitude.”
